I. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Any Namibian person, regardless of age, gender, or background. This contest is all about celebrating tribal diversity and cultural pride.

II. HOW TO JOIN?

  1. Post a photo/selfie of yourself on Instagram – tribal vibes welcome, but not required.
    (Clothes, hairstyle, family, tradition – anything that feels like you.)

  2. In the caption, add these three hashtags:
    👉 #ShowYourTribe
    👉 #ImaHimba / #ImaWambo / #ImaHerero / etc. (choose your tribe)
    👉#Namibia

  3. Tag @papa.janusz in the photo (not just in the caption!)

  4. Pin the post to your profile (if possible).

III. TIMELINE

  • Contest starts: July 2025
  • Submissions deadline: 30 November 2025
  • Winners announced: January 2026
  • Photo sessions: February–March 2026 (selected dates only)

IV. THE PRIZE:

Each winner receives a FREE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOT with @PapaJanusz.
Photos will be delivered digitally within 60 days. Winners agree to grant the organizer permission to use the photos taken during the prize session for promotional purposes of the project, including on websites, social media, and marketing materials.
Organizer reserves the right to award additional prizes or wildcards at his discretion.

V. HOW WILL WINNERS BE CHOSEN?

  1. Step 1: Public voting – Photos with the most likes enter the finals (likes only) – (July - 30 November 2025).
  2. Step 2: Jury selection – From top 30, 3 winners chosen (1F, 1M, 1 child) – (December 2025).
  3. Step 3: Wild card – 1 special person chosen by @PapaJanusz – (January 2026).
  4. Step 4: Final results in January 2026.

  • Multiple posts allowed – just don’t spam.
  • Your account must be public so we can see your entry.

!! NOTE FOR PRIVATE ACCOUNTS:

Instagram doesn’t show us posts from private profiles – even if you tag us. If you're entering, make your account public until December 2025, then switch it back.

!! LOCATION NOTICE:

Photo sessions will take place in central or northern Namibia only, in selected locations such as Windhoek, Swakopmund, Otjiwarongo or Opuwo. Exact dates and places will be shared with the winners later – but please expect to travel within these regions if you’re selected. Due to distance, time, and my short stay in Namibia, this time I won’t be able to travel to the far south. I hope you understand – and I’ll do my best to reach as many of you as I can.
